The Muslim Student Association (MSA) is an official registered student organization that aims to help serve the academic and religious needs of Muslim students at Washington State University (WSU) in Pullman, Washington and also help educate those who are not Muslim using accurate information about Islam. Throughout the last 50 years of American history, university students have been the leaders in promoting peace, change, and understanding in the United States and the MSA hopes to help continue that tradition by doing our part to promote peace and mutual understanding amongst members of all religions.
The very diverse WSU Muslim student population includes undergraduates and graduate students from more than 40 different countries. The MSA hopes to provide the many Muslim students at WSU with the environment they need to continue following their Muslim faith and also continue achieving their educational goals.
The MSA provides a weekly on-campus Friday prayer for those who may not be able to make it to the local Pullman Mosque. We also host fun events for Muslims and non-Muslims, such as barbeques, volleyball games, and more. The MSA has also hosted numerous educational events including lectures and panels on various topics. The MSA hopes to continue providing these beneficial services and opportunities to the whole of the WSU community.
